About Me
Hello! I am an experienced student and computer science professional with one year of proven expertise in computer science and analyzing data.
With skills in python, excel, screencast, and SPSS, I am able to work diligently to complete assignments, and achieve high grades. I am adept at using PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Outlook.
My broad skill set, commitment to quality work, and passion for learning and psychology prove me to be a valuable asset. In my spare time, I like to read and create art.
You can find me on LinkedIn, Instagram, or FaceBook.
Project 1: I came up with this project in order to have a way to display and present all of my SPSS data. This project was presented to me in an effort to analyze data about cricket chirps and temperatures. I set out to solve the problem of convert Fahrenheit to Celsius and to analyze the P and R values, which tells me more about the data. I also arranged the data into a scatterplot. I used SPSS, which is available through the Loyola Apporto system. I had to watch the videos provided with us to learn more about the system since I have never heard of it or worked with it before. I did not collaborate with anyone else to get this done, or use any outside sources. I set out to import data into SPSS, make graphs and analyze descriptive statistics. In the future, I would like to make improvements into using more features of SPSS.
Project 2: This project was made in order to create a grade calculator for my classes at Loyola. I made mine based off of my biology class. I also created a pie chart displaying the weight of my assignments. I used Microsoft excel in order to create this assessment. I used the chart, sum functions, and graph functions and formulas. I faced the challenge of transferring the weight of all the assignments into excel and making sure my data was accurate. I did not use any other resources, besides the videos posted to Moodle. I did not collaborate with anyone to get this done. I set out to achieve a successful grade calculator I could use in the future and to determine what GPA I will have. I did achieve it. In the future, I would like to make the improvement of finding a more aesthetically pleasing way to display the final grade sum.
